Not that it matters anyway since the boulder destroys most of it on the way. The player won't have time to admire the scenery unless they want to be flattened by five tons of solid rock. Near the end of this area, there are dancing trees with spikes on the side.įor most of this area, there's a big boulder giving chase, "Indiana Jones" style. The Hunter Snake will pop its head out in those waterfalls to shoot small fireballs, but these are easily avoided. Now the Player at the bottom of the valley, where the vegetation is rich and luscious, and there are a couple of swimming sections and a few waterfalls. After defeating it, the Hunter Snake will retreat by breaking through a wall, opening a path to the second half of this stage. About halfway through this area is the Mid-Boss battle against the Hunter Snake for the first time. This area is a little more complex, but only just. Afterwards, the barrier will turn into Crystal Shards, allowing the Player to proceed.ĭeeper into the valley, and the vegetation begins to increase. Perlas was Cordelia's maid during ancient times, with Cordelia describing Perlas as "one of the good ones", despite the tension between their people. So, in the event that Merga breaks free form her prison, Cordelia used Pangu to leave a message for her lover, wishing her happiness and the hopes of being reunited someday. But ill-fate struck as the Earth Dragons used the Kingdom Stone's power to seal Merga in a crystal prison. Though their relationship started out antagonistic, they had a mutual respect for each other and slowly formed a friendship that would eventually turn into a romance. During the secret ending, Cordelia's full message is revealed, wishing for her love's happiness and hoping they will be reunited someday, while stating that she still had work to do, revealing that she appears to still be alive in the present day.Ĭordelia first met Merga when she travelled to Parusa in an attempt to broker a peace between their people. She is seen in casual wear recording one last message for Merga, revealing that they shared a romance. In Freedom Planet 2, Cordelia appears mostly as memory, her image appearing within numerous locations throughout Avalice such as recordings of her in Time Capsules, a mural in her honor at the Shuigang docks, and a (fragmented) statue in Adventure Square on the island of Parusa.Ĭordelia makes a special appearance in the climax of the final battle with Merga aboard Bakunawa and in the secret ending of Freedom Planet 2, but only if the player collects all 13 time capsules and completes the secret stage, Weapon's Core.Īfter Merga is defeated, Pangu meets certain parameters and plays a hidden message from Cordelia, albeit scrambled and near difficult to hear. The history books of the present day have little-to-no information about her life, though the Royal Magister may hold the answers. Very little is known about Cordelia, asides that she ruled Shang Tu and seemed to have had a mysterious connection to Merga and the ancient starship, Bakunawa. As a commoner, Cordelia wore a white tunic with gray sleeves and gold and blue rims, while her hair is kept in a pair of ponytails. She also wore a gold crown with a sapphire jewel on her head. As a princess, she wore a royal dress with a color combination of black, white, blue and gold. Cordelia was an earth dragon with light-brown skin, black hair and red eyes. ![]()
